The honeymoon period with this blog is definitely over. It's becoming harder and harder to find time to write here during the week, which means that I end up binge blogging on the weekends. But that's life, I guess. I must press on!
Because of my general busyness, I have yet to blog about last Saturday's run at Lake Chabot in Castro Valley, so I will do so here, if only briefly. As with last time I went to Chabot, it was for an epic combination of runners from both Shadowchase and Dusty Bottoms. Here's the group:

I ended up doing a slow-ish 12 miles over a rolling out-and-back course. It was a mix of the darker, emptier hills I ran last time and some greener, more lush areas along the water. Here are some photos:
Lastly, we ended the day with Sawyer's first Chick-fil-A experience. Parenting WIN!
