My thoughts: Given that it's called Kilt Lifter and the fact that the description uses strong words complete with ALL CAPS, I expected this beer to be intense. In actuality it was a very tasty, very smooth beer that I enjoyed. And not only because Sarah was gone and I got to drink both glasses by myself.
The beer pours a dark amber color and the smell is relatively nondescript with nothing remarkable (thought it could be my sinuses from this late spring weather we're having here in January).
Taste-wise, there are strong hints of caramel with every sip combined with only the faintest hint of bitterness. There is also a slight hint of citrus on the aftertaste. It was all very pleasant and very smooth; it was a nice drinkable beer while I enjoyed my night alone at home. Although it did lead to some kilt lifting shenanigans.
